Superior: A Harbor House Harvest Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Billings Park Pavilion 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The $10 entrance fee includes food, games, a bounce house, a scavenger hunt and more. There will be fundraising items for purchase to help Harbor House Crisis Shelter, a ministry of Faith United Methodist Church, provide services for women, children and families in the area. Superior: Lego Club at the Superior Public Library meets from 4-6 p.m. Children are invited to build something amazing from the library's huge collection of Legos. Masks are required to participate in Lego Club.

Superior: The Downtown Farmers Market runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot in the 1200 block of Banks Avenue.

Friday, Sept. 17

Superior: The Superior Public Library Friends of the Library will host their annual book sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library. Gently used books, movies, magazines, audiobooks and more will be available for purchase. All proceeds support the library throughout the year. Masks will be required at the sale.

Superior: The 23rd annual Cause for the Paws 5K walk/run will be held on the Osaugie Trail, starting near the entrance to Barker’s Island, at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Proof of rabies vaccination required to walk/run with a dog. Registration fee is $40 for an individual and up to two dogs, $95 for a family and up to two dogs. Virtual participation is also available. Register online at https://CFP2021.givesmart.com. Funds raised will be used to house, feed and care for animals at the Humane Society of Douglas County.
