Superior: Superior Spooktacular hosts a drive-in movie screening of Hocus Pocus from 7-8:30 p.m. at 1211 Banks Ave. The free event is sponsored by the Superior Business Improvement District, city of Superior, Nummi Jewelers, Kwik Trip, P&R Properties and Discover PC. World of Wheels will be open for snacks during the show. Parking is limited to 45 spots and will be handled on a first come, first served basis. The parking lot will open at 6 p.m. People are asked to enter the lot from the Banks Avenue entrance.

Superior: The Superior YMCA will host drive-thru socially distanced trick-or-treating at noon in its lower west parking lot. To comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines, trick-or-treaters must remain inside their vehicles.

Superior: The Superior YMCA and Essentia Health are hosting a flu shot clinic from 2-7 p.m. at the Superior YMCA for members ages 6 and older. Appointments are required; make an appointment using the reservation system at www.superiorymca.org. People are asked to bring their health insurance card or $40 to pay out of pocket per shot. They should also bring personal identification. Families can reserve one appointment for up to five people. Participants can fill out the required paperwork in advance at https://bit.ly/2JcnVNb.

Ashland: Free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ashland County Highway Garage, 3918 State Highway 13.

Lake Nebagamon: Make it Homey hosts the Lake Nebagamon Holiday Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lake Nebagamon Auditorium. The craft fair will feature vendors from throughout the area.

Superior: The Small Business Development Center at UW-Superior will host a free seminar titled “First steps to starting a food product business” from 6-8 p.m. The virtual event will feature chef Arlene Coco, a long-time food business owner and culinary innovation strategist. Coco will help participants understand how to start a business before they start their journeys, including establishing a niche and conducting market research to ensure a competitive advantage; writing a business plan; learning the responsibilities and regulatory requirements of the product they produce; and recordkeeping.
