Bring your ideas for this year's Head of the Lakes Fair to a Friends of the Fair meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 14. The dates for this year's fair, July 16-21, has moved back a week, and organizers hope to see it expand.

In 2018, a number of new activities were added to the fair, including a petting zoo, a visit from the Duluth Zoo's exotic animals and a talent show. Old favorites, including racing and a kids day with lots of games and prizes, were also offered.

Everyone's input and ideas are welcome during the meeting Sunday at the multipurpose building, known as the Curing Club, on the fairgrounds at 4700 Tower Ave. Light refreshments will be served.
