The St. Louis County Historical Society has arranged for Denny Mager of Northern Specialty, an expert in antique appraisal, to be at your service from noon to 3 p.m. in the rotunda.

Duluth: History in a Pint features a presentation, “The Golden Anniversary of Apollo: 50 Years Since the ‘…Giant Leap for Mankind,’” 5:30 p.m., Carmody Irish Pub & Brewing. “The Golden Anniversary of Apollo” is the story of local U.S. Navy photographer, Pat Shaw, who was assigned the aircraft carrier USS Hornet to cover the splashdown and recoveries of both Apollo 11 and Apollo 12.
