Superior: Free, drive-through COVID-19 testing for people age 5 and older will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the AMSOIL distribution center, 1101 Susquehanna Ave. Participants can register the day of the test at https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov or register in person when they arrive.

Superior: Learn the art of “Tracking on Snowshoes" with the Lake Superior Estuarine Research Reserve 1-3 p.m. in the Superior Municipal Forest. The educational event is for students grade 6-8; register at www.lakesuperiorreserve.org .

Superior: The Small Business Development Center at UW-Superior will host a free seminar titled “First steps to starting a food product business” from 6-8 p.m. The virtual event will feature chef Arlene Coco, a long-time food business owner and culinary innovation strategist. Coco will help participants understand how to start a business before they start their journeys, including establishing a niche and conducting market research to ensure a competitive advantage; writing a business plan; learning the responsibilities and regulatory requirements of the product they produce; and recordkeeping. Superior: The Border Town Betties are hosting a holiday charity drive featuring a series of livestream broadcasts on their Facebook page to raise money for Ruth House. Sessions include makeup tutorials and tips on making holiday cocktails and mocktails, making this the healthiest holiday yet and creating a COVID-19 home workout, ‘80s style. Broadcasts will run through Monday, Dec. 21. The organization asks anyone who tunes in to contribute to the fundraiser via Facebook. They are also accepting nonperishable food items, hygiene and paper products at Lady Outlaw Vintage in Superior. Every person who donates will be entered into a raffle for local gift cards.
