CHURCH: Generations of Faith promotes culture of life

"We Promote a Culture of Life" is the focus of the monthly Generations of Faith festival at Cathedral of Christ the King parish, Superior, Sunday and Monday. Sessions run noon to 3 pm Sunday and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

"We Promote a Culture of Life" is the focus of the monthly Generations of Faith festival at Cathedral of Christ the King parish, Superior, Sunday and Monday. Sessions run noon to 3 pm Sunday and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Attendees can enjoy a simple soup and salad dinner. Adults will have the opportunity to choose workshops on contraception, embryonic stem cell research, abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia and assisted suicide. Elementary and preschool children will have the opportunity to hunt for Easter Eggs.

Generations of Faith brings people of all ages and backgrounds together to pray, eat and learn together as a parish family. The program is a life-long approach where all ages learn and grow through common experiences, a variety of activities, age-related presentations and sharing while engaging more fully in their faith life and that of the church community. Everyone is invited.
