Chisholm, O'Brien serve as May Rotarians

Danielle Chisholm and Kristina O'Brien, seniors at Superior High School, were selected as Student Rotarians for May by the Superior Rotary Club.

Chisholm is a member of the Student Council and Pledgemakers, and is captain of Spartan varsity cheerleaders. She is also manager of the Spartan track team and has served as a Fall Youth Cheer and Winter Youth Cheer Clinic coach. Chisholm plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to pursue a degree in athletic training and to study exercise science and fitness. She is the daughter of Beth and Scott Chisholm.

O'Brien is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Senior Mentors and Pledgemakers. She is also active in the Cathedral Parish Youth Group. O'Brien plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to pursue a degree in mathematics education and a certificate in secondary education. She is the daughter of Vicki O'Brien and Raymond O'Brien.

During the school year, Student Rotarians attend Rotary meetings and provide club members with opportunities to learn about high school programs and activities as well as the accomplishments and concerns of Superior youth. Each year the Superior Rotary Club awards two scholarships to students graduating from Superior High School. Information is available from school counselors.
