Duluth: The College of St. Scholastica presents a lute recital at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Hall, Room 3625 of Tower Hall. The recital features faculty member Ed Martin on the lute and tenor William Bastian. They perform solo lute works and lute songs from the Renaissance. Free.


Duluth: Beth Bartlett, author of "Making Waves: Grassroots Feminism in Duluth and Superior," speaks about "Feminism Activism in the Twin Ports: Where We've Been and Where We Need to Go" 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 249 of the Burns Wellness Commons at the College of St. Scholastica. The event, presented by the Women's History Month Lecture and Discussion Panel, is free.
