Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to begin a routine inspection Tuesday, July 9, of the Blatnik Bridge, which carries Interstate 535 and U.S. Highway 53 over the St. Louis Bay.

Motorists will encounter daily, right lane closures in both the northbound and southbound traveling lanes across the Blatnik Bridge, according to a news release from WisDOT. Right lane closures will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the southbound lanes and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. northbound.

Motorists should anticipate travel delays while using the bridge. The inspection is predicted to take approximately three weeks, concluding near the end of July.
