Joseph M. Konradt is no longer with the National Bank of Commerce. The former chief executive officer and the city's largest locally-owned bank parted ways Monday, according to interim CEO Dan Markham.
"He is no longer with the bank," said Markham, who is the current vice-president of the bank board. A search has not begun to find a new leader for National Bank of Commerce, according to Markham, but they hope to fill the position soon, possibly within the next 30-60 days.
Markham declined to comment on why Konradt is no longer with the bank. He did say there were no other staffing changes and customer service is expected to be unaffected by the change.
"Everything is business as usual," Markham said.
Konradt took the helm of National Bank of Commerce in December 2009 when former president and CEO Larry Kappes retired. Konradt came to the Twin Ports from Liberty Bank in West Des Moines, Iowa, where he served as executive vice president of community banking. His prior positions were with Guaranty Bank in Milwaukee and First Federal Capital Bank in La Crosse, Wis.
