The Arrowhead Manufacturers and Fabricators Association Educational Trust recently named Richard Lien as its 2013 Most Valuable Partner.
The MVP award is granted annually to acknowledge individual or organizational efforts to support the mission of the AMFA Educational Trust.
For many years, Lien has dedicated countless hours of volunteer time and effort for the betterment of the manufacturing industry. He is regarded for his professionalism, follow-through, passion, and kindness -- to name a few.
"Richard is the type of man you want to be," said past employer Dan Larson of Hydrosolutions of Duluth.
Lien served on the boards of directors for AMFA and the AMFA Educational Trust including a term as AMFA president in 2004. He then focused on chairing the AMFA trust for several years and was an active organizer and fundraiser for the annual golf social and a tireless proponent of the quality careers available in manufacturing today.
