One of the worst aspects of being unemployed is that feeling of loneliness.

Everyone has some place to go in the morning, except the person without a job.

The sense of isolation can be devastating, especially when coupled with the overwhelming worry of how to manage without a paycheck. Fortunately for the dislocated workers and unemployed in northwest Wisconsin, there are Job Clubs meeting at each of the seven Job Centers, facilitated by staff of the Northwest Wisconsin Concentrated Employment Program (CEP, Inc).

These clubs offer a combination of information and support, as people struggle to manage their lives, their expenses and move themselves forward after the loss of their jobs.

The Job Clubs are open to any job seeker, and new participants are always welcomed. "The different Job Centers may offer them on other days of the week, and maybe at other times," John noted.
