For the third consecutive year, Engwalls Florist, Greenhouse & Garden Center and Lundeen Productions are planting and creating a nearly 100,000-square-foot Corn Maze at the Engwalls' site in Hermantown. "As we've done in the past, we'd like to extend an invitation to groups and organizations from throughout the region to visit our "agri-tainment center" for outings, said Rod Saline of Engwalls. Last year dozens of school classes, church youth groups and a variety of other organizations enjoyed this unique and fun experience.
The two-acre corn maze offers nearly one mile of paths that create a corn field experience of sights and sounds conveniently tucked away in a wooded area less than 10 minutes from downtown Duluth!
Corn Maze group and field trip opportunities offer a variety of features that can include interactive educational presentations under the Engwalls' Corn Top (big top tent), music, picnics, retreats, and more.
"We have a variety of games in the maze for all age levels which makes for a fun and unique experience. After completing the maze, weather permitting, we have a raging bonfire (feel free to bring ingredients for s 'mores) and time for campfire sing-a-longs" said Saline.
