Eight months after the first tenants moved in, Central Flats was the site of celebration for city officials, Chamber ambassadors and P&R Companies and residents.

The celebration was delayed because of COVID-19 restrictions.

“It’s wonderful to finally celebrate the completion of Central Flats,” said Megan Holsclaw, operations manager for P&R Properties. “It’s a wonderful building with awesome tenants in the heart of Superior.”

The building is now filled to capacity with 60 people on a waiting list.

Those people will have the first opportunity to rent apartments at P&R Companies' next project, planned to get underway in the fall.

The apartments will be constructed on Bardon Avenue near St. Luke’s Mariner Medical Clinic.

Plans are in the final stages of design and feature 120-units with studio, alcove, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom floor plans. Amenities will include a large lobby with property office, secure mail and parcel room, a club room, entertaining suite with full kitchen and dining room, conference room, fitness center, virtual fitness room, resident storage, pet spa and bike storage.
