The Amnicon Farmers Union hosts "Your Farm Future: A Blueprint to Move Your Farm Forward" from 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 3 at the Amnicon Town Hall.

The program was developed by the University of Wisconsin Madison Department of Extension for farmers interested in planning and preparing for the future of their farm business in the current challenging economic conditions.

An agricultural economist will be on hand to help clarify production and financial information and discuss how to prepare for a legal consult.

"The session will offer an evening of positive planning and thoughtful family and business interactions in a friendly environment to shine a light on our community and individual farming future of northwest Wisconsin," said Jane Anklam, agriculture and horticulture educator with Douglas County UW-Extension.

Registration is required by Friday, March 29. The cost is $7 per person or $5 per farm business partner. Supper will be available. Family farm businesses are encouraged to attend.

Call 715-395-1547 or email jane.anklam@wisc.edu to register.
