The 14th annual Northland Horse Fair is March 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mariner Retail & Business Center (formerly the Mariner Mall) in Superior.

Hosted by Diamond Royal Tack, the Northland Horse Fair is the area's largest horse community gathering. The free event features demonstrations and seminars by guest speakers on horse-related topics, visit with product representatives, local equine clubs and shop handcrafted wares at the vendor booths.

The Horse Fair will have live horses for visitors to pet.

This year's Horse Fair will be the last held at the mall because Diamond Royal Tack is rebranding as Beyond the Barn and moving to its new location in Duluth's Miller Hill Mall.

"It's hard to leave the Mariner Mall, being from Superior myself, but we're excited to grow as Beyond the Barn in the Miller Hill Mall and continue to offer a little bit of the west even up North," Amanda Crist, manager of Beyond the Barn and the event coordinator for the Northland Horse Fair, said in a news release. "The Horse Fair has always been my favorite event that we have held over the last 15 years and although we'll have a venue change in 2020, I can't wait to plan for the future of the Northland Horse Fair."

The Horse Fair will also be Diamond Royal Tack's last day open in Superior. After the Horse Fair, leftover inventory and fixtures that won't be moved to the Duluth location will be sold at auction March 29 starting at noon in the mall.
