Superior's Walmart is rolling out a new option for busy shoppers today - curbside grocery pick-up. Customers can place an order online and even reserve a time to pick up the order.
When the customer arrives at the store, they can park in reserved parking spaces and call to alert an associate. The associate will retrieve the prepared order and load it into the customer's car. Standard pickup is free, according to the corporation, and item prices will be the same as in-store purchases.
The service covers the majority of items available in the store, from cat litter and socks to milk. A minimum purchase of $30 is required to use the curbside pickup service. For more information, visit www.walmart.com and click on the grocery pickup tab.
The move comes on the heels of a storewide remodel which increased the footprint of the pharmacy area and added a money center. The remodel is finished, and items are in their permanent places now, according to store staff.
