Duluth police warn of ‘interesting’ scam

Members of the Superior Police Department’s Emergency Response Team took part in a standoff at 1214 Harrison St. Thursday afternoon. Neighbors said they heard loud bangs shortly after noon. The department’s MRAP vehicle was deployed on the street in front of the home. Sgt. Adam Poskozim said the department was executing a search warrant and an arrest warrant at the residence and one person was taken into custody.Jed Carlson/jcarlson@superiortelegram.com
