UWS wins first conference game

Jordan Neduzak and Alex Thompson scored third-period goals as the University of Wisconsin-Superior men's hockey team rallied to edge UW-Stout 2-1 on Friday night at Menomonie for its first WIAC win of the season.

Neduzak tallied at 7:03 of the third and Thompson, a Duluth Denfeld graduate, pumped in the game-winner at 13:49.

Bryce Fink stopped 23 shots for the Yellowjackets (8-16 overall, 1-10 WIAC), while Spencer Viele made 31 saves for the Blue Devils (8-16-1, 3-9).
