Tiger boys down Ladysmith

The Northwestern Tigers got 19 points from Brayden Bartelt and 11 points apiece from Jeffrey Priem and Nate Pearson in a 56-41 win over the Ladysmith Lumberjacks Tuesday night in Maple.

Ladysmith led 11-10 after the first quarter, but Northwestern outscored the 'Jacks 16-6 in the second quarter for a 26-17 halftime lead.

The Lumberjacks outscored the Tigers again 16-14 in the third quarter, but once again the Tigers doubled up Ladysmith with a 16-8 advantage in the fourth quarter.

Trey Webb and Mitchell Sieg both scored 12 points for Ladysmith.

The Tigers also got six points from Travis Abrahamson, five points from Alex Tecker and four from Tevor Paulus.

Northwestern plays against at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Hayward.
