Packers’ Rodgers breaks collarbone, may be out for season

Silver 1000 is Thursday at Proctor Speedway

The 44th annual Silver 1000 is Thursday at the Proctor Speedway.

The event will see some adjustments to the purses for both the Late Models and Modifieds.

The Late Model main event will see an increase in purse of $1,100, while the Modified purse is increased by $1,400.

The Late Model race will still be $2,500 to win and $225 to start, but the increase is added to positions 3-17 for a total purse of $17,275. On the Modified side, the bump upward starts with an increase to first place making it $1600 to win, following with increases all the way back through 21st spot for a total of $10,700.

Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. Grandstand tickets are $25 age 13 and over; 12 and under $5.
