Port Wing native Megan Gustafson achieved another milestone Thursday in what has been a breakout season with Iowa. The sophomore scored her 600th point of the season, becoming just the fourth woman in Iowa program history to reach 600 points in a single season.
Gustafson currently has 609 points and 328 rebounds — the Hawkeye’s all-time single season record. She scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Iowa’s win Thursday and is averaging a team-high 18.5 points and 9.9 rebounds for the Hawkeyes this season.
