Recently in talking with friends and neighbors, I realized many of them were unaware of the upcoming primary election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
There are three candidates for Supreme Court justice: Madison attorney Tim Burns, Milwaukee judge Rebecca Dallet and Sauk County judge Michael Screnock.
This is traditionally a low-turnout election so your vote will make a difference. The top two candidates will move on to the general election April 3.
Vote Feb. 20 and April 3. Elections have consequences. You may also want to remind your friends and family of the elections.
Dallet and Burns are both strong candidates. Screnock was appointed by Gov. Scott Walker to his circuit court judicial position and is supported by the Wisconsin Republican Party.
