It is with great sadness that the family of Myron Patrick Bergstrom announces his passing. Myron died unexpectedly in his home on December 16th, 2017 in Reno, NV at the age of 42. Myron was born on August 18th, 1975 to Julie Lucas Bergstrom and Patrick Bergstrom in Superior Wisconsin and spent his early years in Solon Springs and Superior. Later, Myron moved to Chicago with his mother, Julie, step father, John, and sisters Angela and Nicole where he graduated from Maine East High School. He met and married Michelle Williams and together they moved to Reno, NV. Myron and Michelle had two children, Melody and Sidney. Myron was a loving father and cherished his time with his children. In Reno, Myron completed his education and established a lucrative career as a union electrician. He was instrumental in completing several large building projects in and around the Reno area, including the new Tesla plant. Myron also pursued his love of racing motorcycles at the Nevada and California Speedways where he spent time with his racing family. He was a talented rider and proud member of the Sierra Sport Bike Association.Myron is survived by his daughter Melody and son Sidney, his parents, Julie and John Swieca of Schaumburg, IL and Patrick and Barbara Bergstrom of South Range, WI, siblings, Angela Bergstrom-Ohren (Howard), Nicole Bergstrom and Patrick, Corey and April Bergstrom, and special friend Angela Coniglio, as well as nieces Amber, Georgia, Kaylee and Allison and nephew William, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He will be deeply missed by all.A memorial service is scheduled for January 20, 2017, at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be at 10:00, Memorial Service at 11:00. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Myron's life. In lieu of flowers, a minor's estate account is being set up for Myron's children.
