Brenda L. Turner

Brenda L. Turner, 55, Chetek, WI resident, died alongside her daughter, Natalie L. Turner on Friday, October 27, 2017 at their home. She was born on June 30, 1962 in Duluth, MN to Ted and Jacqueline (Tyman) Eckard.

Brenda was a Morgan Park High School graduate. She was employed as the assistant project manager at MEP Associates in Eau Claire, WI. Brenda was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Brenda enjoyed gardening, cooking for crowds and spending time at the lake and loved Lake Superior. She also loved the outdoors especially camping.

Brenda is survived by one son, Kyle (Brette) Venier, Poplar, WI; two daughters, Briana Venier, Chetek, WI and Mikala Turner, Barron, WI; two grandchildren, Brylee and Skyler Venier; her father, Ted Eckard; two sisters, Jennifer (Pat) Lustig, Solon Springs, WI and Paula (Jon) Aamodt, Lake Nebagamon, WI and one brother, Steve (Glory) Eckard, Hermantown, MN.

In addition to her daughter Natalie, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Turner and mother Jackie Eckard.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2316 E. 4th Street, Superior and continue until the 2:00 PM memorial service with Rev. Fr. Adam Laski and Pastor Casey Carey of Victory Church in Waupaca, WI co-officiating.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the outpouring of support to the many friends, faculty and staff of Chetek-Weyerhaeuser High School and the entire community of Barron County and Chetek, WI.
