Superior: The North Trail Association Brule-St. Croix Chapter hosts a 4-mile hike in Pattison State Park along the North Country National Scenic Trail. Meet at Fuller's Family Restaurant, 5817 Tower Ave., at 9 a.m. or the state park contact station at 9:45 a.m. The hike is free, but a state park sticker or day pass is required for vehicles. Lakeside: The Old-Brule Heritage Society offers the Davidson Windmill and Eskolin Log House for tours 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. off Highway 13, about 3.5 miles east of the junction with U.S. Highways 2/53. Free will donations accepted.

Ashland: Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board Youth Committee meets at 2:30 p.m. at 422 W. Third St.

Duluth: The College of St. Scholastica hosts Paul Finkelman, an expert in history and the U.S. Constitution, for a free lecture in observance of Constitution Day. Finkelman talks about "How Slavery Brought Us The Electoral College: The Most Anti-Democratic Provision of the Constitution" at 7 p.m. in the Mitchell Auditorium. The discussion will examine the three-fifths compromise reached between northern and southern states during the 1787 Constitutional Convention.
