Salvation Army basketball sign-up, clinic kicks off this weekend

The Salvation Army Rookie Basketball Association is beginning its 31st season.

Sign-up for the Salvation Army Rookie Basketball Association take places from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the UW-Superior Health and Wellness Center.

The league is for boys and girls in third and fourth grade. However, if it permits younger kids will be accepted as well.

Kids signing up will be able to participate in a clinic 1-2:30 p.m., conducted by the UWS women’s basketball team following registration

There will be additional sign-up days at the Salvation Army 5-7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and Oct. 22.

Practice starts Nov. 2.
