Supeiror Public Library celebrates 125 years

The downtown Farmers' Market again runs each Wednesday this year in the library's north parking lot. The hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 5-Oct. 30. Why not stop into the library for a visit before or after you shop?

This year will mark the 125th anniversary of the Superior Public Library. We plan to celebrate the occasion with some fun facts and photos in our Library Happenings articles and newsletters. We're also planning some unique activities to get you involved at the library. Stay tuned.

Parents, mark your calendars for the start of our Summer Reading Programs for children and teens. This year's program, "Dig Into Reading," begins June 17 and will continue through August. For more information, call 715-394-8866 or pick up a flyer at the Children's Desk.

Sandra Cragin will be our featured artist for the month of June. This new collection is entitled "In the Red." Her work is non-objective, mainly acrylic, with watercolor, papers and inks. Sandra's works will be on display in the case to your right as you enter the library lobby.
