Organizers estimated more than 2,000 people attended the Lake Superior Ice Festival over the weekend. The hockey games have wrapped up and the ice princesses have left, but there are still cool sights to be seen.

Ice sculptures dot the Superior landscape. In addition to the ice throne and a cluster of ice art at Barker's Island's Festival Park, a number of local businesses have decorated their doorsteps with sculptures. They can be found walking down Tower Avenue or driving along Belknap Street and Marina Drive.

With the current weather conditions, these ice sculptures could be around for a while. The icy art can be found at Spirit Room, 1323 Broadway St.; 7 West Taphouse, 1319 Tower Ave.; VIP Pizza, 1201 Tower Ave; discoverpc.NET at 1402 Tower Ave.; the Belknap Plaza, 130 Belknap St.; and Barker's Island Inn, 300 Marina Drive.
