Packers’ Rodgers breaks collarbone, may be out for season

Wisconsin Point Road closes for culvert repairs

Starting Monday, the city is closing Wisconsin Point Road to replace a culvert.

The culvert is about a half mile from Moccasin Mike Road so there will be no access to the parking areas during this time.

It’s a fairly deep culvert, so work is expected to last about a week, said Assistant Public Works Director Todd Janigo.

“We would expect to have the road open later in the dayFridayfor weekend use,” he said.

A sign will be place near the highway stating the Wisconsin Point Road is closed, so people won’t be driving out to it to realize it is closed, Janigo said.
