Superior Public Library will be showing free family movies every Monday at 6 p.m. through Aug. 29. We’ll be showing "Happy Feet" on June 27, the beloved animated film about a tap-dancing penguin. On July 11, join us for "McFarland, USA" starring Kevin Costner as a high school cross-country coach hoping to lead his team to the state championship. Both movies are rated PG. Light snacks will be available.

Join us for Tooth Fairy Storytime on June 28 at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room Storyboat. Just Kids Dental will be our special guests and will present a fun, informative program about brushing, flossing and nutrition. Each child will receive a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and sticker or pencil.

On June 29 at 2 p.m., join us for "Victors & Villains," a superhero-themed dance performance presented by Sterling Silver Studio featuring dancers and fire-twirlers. This free program is open to the public and will be held in the Library Meeting Room.

We’ve got two great dance programs on June 30, both presented by Sterling Silver Studio and both starting at 2 p.m. Hip-Hop for Kids is a dance program for older kids and will be held in the Library Meeting Room. Mommy & Me Dance, Learn and Play will be held in the classroom and is designed to let parents and their little ones, 0 to 4 years old, wiggle, sing and learn together for the ultimate bonding experience. Space is limited for the Mommy & Me program so call 715-394-8866 to register.

The library will be closed July 2-4 for the Fourth of July holiday. We hope you have a happy and safe Fourth of July.
