Name: Danna Livingston-Matherly

Family: Married, five daughters, three dogs

Occupation: Instructor for the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College corrections program and the Department of Justice Academy; former probation and parole agent for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections

Education: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and currently finishing a Master of Science degree in instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Civic/government involvement: Served for 10 years on a child abuse prevention task force, 12 years on a domestic violence prevention task force, seven years on the Duluth Federal Prison Community Board, three years on church council and an active member of the Superior Optimist Club serving youth in our community.

Age: 67

Family: Wife Carol, six children and raised my wife’s brother.

Residence: Cloverland

Occupation: Retired after 33 years teaching agriculture and technical education at Northwestern High School; currently run a 45-cow beef operation with my wife and do some crop inspection for the Wisconsin Crop Improvement Association.

Education: Bachelor of Science in agriculture education and chemistry from UW-River Falls

Civic/government involvement: Member of St. Anthony’s Parish in Lake Nebagamon for 45 years, serving on the parish board many times; member of Maple and then Cloverland volunteer fire departments since 1969; was on Douglas County and Town of Cloverland’s Comprehensive Planning Boards; treasurer of Amnicon Farmers Union; member of the State Farmers Union Policy Committee and lobbied in Washington D.C. for the Farm Bill with them in 2012; worked with Douglas County and local 4-H clubs; Douglas County Beef Improvement Association; Northwestern FFA and FFA alumni; and other agriculture groups; two terms on the school board and current board member.
