HALLOCK, Minn. — A former school principal appeared in court in Kittson County District Court Wednesday to face child pornography charges after police found almost 3,000 photographs and videos on his computer and in various media files, according to court documents.

Warren Anderson, 55, could face 50 years in prison if convicted. He remains in the Kittson County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

"It kinds shocks the conscience because it kind of talks in graphic detail about children as young as 5, 6, 8 years of age that are on these videos engaging in sexual acts," Kittson County Sheriff Steve Porter said. "So it shocks the conscience."

Anderson's LinkedIn profile lists him as the West Pembina campus principal of Sterling Education. His profile does not list the dates of his employment with the school.
