Police searching for suspect who robbed Superior Subway at knifepoint

Superior police are searching for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant at knifepoint on Saturday night.

The robbery occurred at about 8:22 p.m. at the Subway at 100 Belknap St., near the Belknap Plaza shopping center. According to police, a male suspect entered the restaurant, displayed a knife and and demanded money from the lone employee. The employee cooperated and the suspect fled with about $110 in cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build, light-colored eyes and a pointy nose. He was wearing dark clothing and had a camouflage mask covering much of his face.
