Food, fun is good for the soul
The Black Student Union organization at the University of Wisconsin-Superior offers its popular Soul Food dinner and program at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room, 1605 Catlin Ave., Superior.
Music, food and fun will highlight this event which brings the campus and community together. Speakers include Kishia Christopher and Sonia Smith. Frankie Soto hosta the event and shares his spoken word poetry. Named the 2016 Multicultural Spoken Word Poet of the Year at the National Poetry Awards, Soto has appeared at college campuses throughout the country.
