DC Testing grows into new space

DC Testing is kicking off the New Year in a new space.

The Superior business, which provides drug and alcohol testing and background checks for Transportation Worker Identification Credentials and Transportation Security Administration precheck program, is moving three blocks north to 1419 Tower Ave.

DC Testing, which employs six, has outgrown its current suite in the Timmers Building, 1705 Tower Ave. It will open in the new site today.

Owners Kelli and Dale Hashey said purchasing the former Security Finance building more than doubles their available space, providing additional privacy and options for clients. It also comes with a parking lot big enough to park semi-tractor trailers.

"It's still the same friendly, competent staff, just in a bigger better place," Kelli Hashey said. "Now we have privacy; we have closed doors."

Since purchasing DC Testing in June 2016, the Hasheys have added a number of services to build a one-stop shop for the testing required by safety-sensitive employers. Their array includes rapid drug tests, saliva, breath and hair testing, on-site collections, hazmat certification, passport photos and pre-hire strength and agility testing.

Hours will remain the same at the new location, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, but there will no longer be an hour-long closure for lunch. The business will have the same phone number, (715) 718-2629 and email, dctestingsuperior@gmail.com. For more information, visit dctestingsuperior.com.
