ADRC offers screenings for memory health

Body:

Douglas County offices are closed next Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, with the exception of the Highway Department that is open Friday. Have a good holiday, everyone! There are no county government meetings next week; however, the Aging Disability Resource Center of Douglas County is hosting its annual free memory screening event, called Memory Matters. A memory screen is a tool meant to evaluate your memory health and look for any indicators of possible changes in memory.

Screenings take place noon to 2:30 p.m. today at the Solon Springs Community Center, and noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Superior Senior Center.

Home visits are also available. Call the ADRC at (715) 395-1234 for more information or to schedule a memory screening.
