Missouri man sentenced to Wisconsin prison system
A Gladstone, Mo., man was sentenced Friday to 24 years prison in Douglas County Circuit Court, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Cole Raymond Didrikson, 31, was sentenced to 12 years confinement and 12 years extended supervision by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and ordered to pay several thousands in fines and restitution as a result of a plea agreement with the Douglas County District Attorney.
Didrikson pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, vehicle operator fleeing an officer, manufacture or delivery of heroin, manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine, intimidate witness by use or attempted force, and bail jumping.
All the charges are felony convictions. Several other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement, the sheriff’s department reported.
The convictions are the result of the combined investigative efforts of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Superior Police Department, Northwest Area Crime Unit Task Force and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
