Two arrested in Little Store armed robbery
Superior police have two suspects in connection with the Sept. 27 robbery of the Little Store, 2104 Tower Ave.
A review of the video surveillance helped develop a lead to the possible identity of the armed suspect. From this video, and from the clerk's statement, the suspect was believed to be a female, about 5-feet tall, with her face concealed.
The suspect brandished a knife during this incident. No one was harmed.
Additional evidence led the investigator to believe that the suspect and the clerk knew each other.
The clerk, identified as a 22-year-old South Range man and a woman, 20, of Superior believed to be his girlfriend. were arrested for conspiracy to commit armed robbery, a class C felony, punishable by a fine up to $100,000 or imprisonment up to 40 years. Initial appearances are scheduled for Nov. 7.
