Bridge to Health surveys guide area health efforts
Time is running out for people to submit their responses and provide input to guide future health programming in the Northland. The final Bridge to Health Surveys were mailed out to randomly selected households Friday. Completed surveys must be postmarked by Oct. 15 in order to be included.
More than 60 local health and community organizations in northern Minnesota and Douglas County Wisconsin are sponsoring the survey and will incorporate the results into their work. Information from past Bridge to Health Surveys has been used to develop new health services, increase cancer prevention efforts, promote healthy eating and physical activity, reduce the number of uninsured, and create healthier communities.
