Roughly 76,000 people in Wisconsin may find themselves without heat or electricity soon. Wisconsin’s emergency winter period has just ended, meaning utility companies can now disconnect customers who are far behind on paying their bills.

The Wisconsin Lennox Dealer Advisory Council of 12 Wisconsin Lennox Dealers are working to make Wisconsin a great place to live, work and raise a family. They found a way to support those who fought for our freedom and help deserving families who have fallen on tough times through no fault their own.
Today, the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative – a consortium of Great Lakes mayors that includes Duluth Mayor Don Ness and Superior Mayor Dave Ross – announced its opposition to the proposed shipment by Bruce Power of radioactive waste on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River.
ALLETE (NYSE: ALE) today reported third quarter 2009 earnings of 49 cents
per share, compared with 85 cents in the same period a year ago, according to a news release issued this morning.
