The U.S. Justice Department, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Madison, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Wisconsin Department of Justice today announced a proposed settlement with Murphy Oil USA Inc., which will dramatically cut nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and particulate matter emissions from its Superior refinery.
The Board of Directors of Murphy Oil Corp. (NYSE: MUR) on Wednesday declared a quarterly dividend on the Common Stock of Murphy Oil Corporation of $.275 per share, or $1.10 per share on an annualized basis. The previous annualized dividend level was $1 per share.

Murphy Oil wants to expand. Currently, they employees 156 people in Superior with a payroll of $18.4 million. Recently, I took a tour of their existing operations.
