Darrell Nelson, the defending AMSOIL Late Model Series champion, won the second leg of the six-race, four-track series Sunday. The victory in the 35-lap feature was worth $2,000 for the 22 year veteran.
Solon Springs’ Brady Smith notched his first-ever Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory Saturday at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway.
Smith earned $9,999 in the third annual 99 Extravaganza, 50-lap feature at the3?8-mile western Kentucky oval.
