After attending numerous meetings and receiving facts about language immersion, I am convinced that the proposed immersion school will be an extremely beneficial program to our children and our community.
The Superior School Board is pushing to phase Lake Superior Elementary into a full foreign language immersion school, and the effect it will have on the students, teachers and taxpayers throughout Superior has not been detailed or publicized.
My son attends Lake Superior Elementary school. We are one of the schools that are on the list to possibly close if the language immersion proposal passes. Let me say that there are several things that concern me on this issue.
