Boyle family sports saga continues
Lance Boyle is scheduled to team with Telegram Sports Editor Ken Olson, crack photographer Jed Carlson and the Great One, Billy Perkola for a killer of a race, the “.01K Fun Run” for Harbor House. This event is sponsored by the Superior Business Improvement District, BID, and all proceeds will go to benefit a great and worthy organization, Harbor House Crisis Center.

The Gary Gustafson Last Chance Baseball Tournament was played this past weekend at the Steve Arnovich and Art Parenteau Fields in Superior. Thirteen teams consisting of eleven- and twelve-year-old players competed in the 12th annual event and enjoyed America’s pastime — baseball.
One person who could tell you all you wanted to know about the game was the namesake of the weekend’s tournament.

Golf outing celebrates legacy of giving
It seems like only yesterday that Superior lost a great advocate who was, and still is, so important to the youth of the city.
Dick Reder left us on January 7, 1992. Time has gone by much too quickly, but his sons, Rich and Paul, have carried on what Dick started many years ago.
Today marks the 19th Annual Dick Reder Golf Outing, hosted by Mark Carlson and the Nemadji Golf Course.
