Count the sweet simple things in life

New entitlement was not intent
BadgerCare was created in 1999 under Republican Gov. Tommy Thompson. The purpose was to provide health insurance for the working poor and for those who had just left government assistance.

Corporations don’t represent my viewpoint

When President Obama criticized the Supreme Court about its’ decision to allow corporations to claim individual status and therefore allow them to use their money in an unlimited way to fund political campaigns, his criticism was right on the mark.

Program integrity spares services, taxpayer expense
Government has a moral obligation to provide a social safety net to assure our most vulnerable citizens are provided assistance when they need it most. Likewise, government officials have a fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers to assure their money is spent appropriately and efficiently.
