Count the sweet simple things in life 
Life is filled with simple pleasures that bring a smile to your face and put a lump in your throat. My mom always advised me to count my blessings. It was her way of saying that everyday joys help to fill and define the essence of life.

New entitlement was not intent

When President Obama criticized the Supreme Court about its’ decision to allow corporations to claim individual status and therefore allow them to use their money in an unlimited way to fund political campaigns, his criticism was right on the mark.

Program integrity spares services, taxpayer expense 
Government has a moral obligation to provide a social safety net to assure our most vulnerable citizens are provided assistance when they need it most. Likewise, government officials have a fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers to assure their money is spent appropriately and efficiently.
