A celebration of life for Superior native, Wynn (Germond) Tinker will take place today and Wednesday in Rice Lake. I had not seen Wynn since the 1970s but remember her as a person of humor, dignity, beauty and intelligence. I know of the love she felt for her family; husband, Greg; and daughters, Kelly and Sara.
Lots of stuff has happened since we last met. In fact, during our latest Lance and Billy Literary Society executive meeting, a unanimous decision was made by our board of directors. A new division of the society has been created that will be of interest to our legions of readers.
Some time ago, Lance got to be King for a Day and all we really ended up with was an edict to have your hot dogs grilled. Now Billy attempts to correct the world if he were King for a Day by tackling these 10 important issues:
