Services celebrating the life of Adam D. Philipsek, 27, of St. Cloud, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 26 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Adam died unexpectedly at his home on Friday. There will be a visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud. St. Paul’s Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Adam was born May 6, 1986, in Duluth, to Norbert and Rebecca (Steinkopf) Philipsek. He grew up in Lake Nebagamon, graduating from Northwestern High School in Maple. Adam moved to St. Cloud in 2004 to attended college. He was attending the St. Cloud Technical College. He married Erin Gilman on Aug. 13, 2011, in Foley. The couple has two children.
Adam is survived by his wife, Erin, St. Cloud; his children, Faith and Jackson Philipsek, St. Cloud; parents, Norb and Rebecca Philipsek, Lake Nebagamon; brother, Jeffrey Philipsek, Duluth; sister, Megan Philipsek, Minneapolis; grandmothers, Corynne Philipsek, Sartell and Ruth Steinkoph, St. Cloud.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers.
