Jesse Hugh Kasper, 36, a lifelong resident of Superior, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 in his residence following a medical battle with Myasthenia Gravis for nearly half of his life.
He was born to Kathleen Marie "Bushel" Smith and William Albert Kasper on April 11, 1977.
He was a member of the Lake Superior Chippewa Band Lac du Flambeau.
Jesse's work history had been with the Daily Telegram.
Jesse enjoyed chess, cribbage and boxing. He was a fan of all sports and especially he was a fan of the Denver Bronco's and the Green Bay Packers. He was very artistic and that showed in his drawings and stenciling. The time spent "hanging out" with his friends was very important to him.
He is survived by his brother, Max Kasper; a niece, Lilly Marie Kasper; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother on September 30, 1990; his father on March 9, 2007; and his grandparents.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the 12 Noon memorial service in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. and 19th St., on Thursday, June 20 with Rev. Kevin M. Gordon officiating. Committal prayers will be at Nemadji Cemetery.
