Suzanna M. Bogan, age 97, longtime resident of Superior passed away peacefully on Monday May 6, 2013 while at the Lighthouse of Superior.
Born July 25, 1915 in Belgium to Frans and Maria DeVlieger. She met her first husband serviceman Oscar Hope and moved to Superior. She later married William Bogan in 1963 and enjoyed almost 40 years of marriage. She and Bill moved to Sun City Arizona in 1980 to enjoy their retirement years. She returned to Superior in 2004 after Bill died to be near her family.
Her working career included a sales lady at Lights Fashion Shop, teller at Community Bank & Trust and many people remember her hostess days at Cronstrom's Supper Club. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, bingo and especially liked playing cards. Cribbage was her game of choice.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Oscar Hope and William Bogan.
She is survived by sister-in-law Kay (Bob) Thatcher, nieces Debbie (Butch) Tendrup, Lynn (George) Lehman, Dawn (Ed) Anderson, nephews Jay (Suzanne) Thatcher and Ralph (Kathy) Thatcher.
A private family service was held. Cremation Society of Minnesota helped with the arrangements.
